A little about our family, the breeders behind Happy Tails Family Farm! My name is Leah, my husband Luke and I, along with our beautiful daughter (and general manager) Lisa, live and work on our 80 acre farm where we both farm crops and raise animals of all species. I have been breeding golden retrievers since 2016, when I bought my first two golden girls and have added the Bernese mountain dogs along the way. All of our puppies, no matter when they’re born, are raised in our home and well socialized with a variety of animals, situations, people and noises. We manage a number of breeding dogs, along with just pets as well – here on the farm we enjoy all our animals, not just the dogs, but also chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, rabbits, goats, emu’s, beef cows, horses and our most recent acquisition alpacas! Breeding is a hobby for us, as Luke and I both work full-time agricultural jobs, myself for a local agricultural business custom spreading fertilizer and spraying chemical on crops for farmers in the area and Luke is a heavy machinery, diesel mechanic for a local tractor dealership. Agriculture and animals of all species are my two greatest passions and I hope to meet all of your expectations in a breeder.
